ViewTrade Technology will be conducting critical updates to services that include User Microservice Authentication (UMA), Account Management and Onboarding (AMO), Global Market Data Service (MDAS), and Insight on Saturday, November 15, starting at 12 a.m. EST. All services will be unavailable during this update, with downtime expected to last until 12 p.m.
ViewTrade is migrating UMA, AMO, MDAS and Insight from a shared legacy AWS cloud to their own separate accounts to benefit future infrastructure. Due to the sensitivity of this data, we will be shutting off API endpoints and other associated infrastructure to prevent data drifit during the database cloning stage of the migration.
Any client using a custom domain, meaning any domain that ViewTrade does not own, will be required to update DNS entries on their side after the migration. ViewTrade will update all the domains that we control.
If this applies to your firm, please contact our team to schedule a live call to ensure a smooth transition from the expired domain to the updated one. Otherwise, all DNS entries for client domains can be updated any time after the migration. Be advised that websites with expired domains will be down until the DNS entry is updated.
